THE PRESIDENT MINISTER LEADS TO THE WORLD OF THE WORLD - VIDEO


PRESIDENT MINISTER Kassim Majaliwa has called on all Tanzanians to the late Bishop Reverend Gaberiel Mmole (80) of the Catholic State Mtwara for good, gentle and good service he has demonstrated throughout his life.

He called that yesterday (Tuesday, May 21, 2019) during the funeral of Bishop Mmole in the Catholic Church in Mtwara and attended by leaders, Catholic Church members and residents of Mtwara.

Bishop Moole was born in January, 1939 in the Nangoo Parish, where he was baptized and obtained a confirmation on October 5, 1952. In 1971 he was a priest and became bishop from 1988, died on May 15, 2019 in Mtwara Region after a long illness.

The areas he has served since the rank of the priest are the Mnero assistant Parish (1972), Pastor Institute GABA-Uganda (1973), Gombera Namupa seminar (1974 to May 1988), declared as Bishop of Mtwara State March 12, 1988 and was declared bishop of Mtwara State May 25, 1988.

In 1951 to 1954 he received primary education at Ndanda Primary School, 1955 studied Nyangao Middle School, 1956 moved to Lukuledi where he graduated in 1958. He went to Peramiho College in 1959 to 1960, where 1962 joined the Namupa seminary and graduated in 1964.

1965 until 1966 took the philosophical seminars of Peramiho's seminary and in 1967 until 1971 he took theology in the same seminary of Peramiho. 1971 made Baccalaureate examinations from the University of the Pope Urbaniana Rome and obtained a degree of theology.

The funeral service has been led by the Archbishop of Songea State, Bishop Bishop Damian Dallu who spent the time helping Tanzanians live in good morals and mutual respect.

The Prime Minister said during his lifetime Bishop Mmole gave priority to the key issues of community development including education where he helped a lot of nuns who finished the seventh grade and helped them join secondary schools.

“Even the establishment of the University of STEMMUCO which is the SAUT branch in Mtwara is one of its efforts she has made in ensuring that she offers quality education to the youth and the community.

His death is a great blow to the nation because we have lost a spiritual leader who is responsible for the welfare of the Tanzanian society. ”\ T

For his part, President of the Bishops 'Council of Tanzania, Mhashamu Bishop Gervas Nyaisonga of the Central Region of Mbeya said they have found a great scandal following the death of Bishop Mmole because they trusted his wisdom in the Bishops' Council.

He added that Bishop Mmole was an example of good intentions and served the church in any case, so we should pray for him to rest in peace.

Initially, Mtwara Regional Head, Gelasius Byakanwa thanked the leaders of the various religious sectors in Mtwara due to the good cooperation that they are able to carry out their duties properly.

The funeral has been attended by thousands of people, bishops of various states in the country, the retired President of the third phase, Mr. Benjamin Mkapa and his wife Ms Anna Mkapa, Minister of State OR-Service and Good Governance Mr. Mercy George Mkuchika.
